This Y-splitter is used to connect a mobile phone or laptop to active speakers when they are located at a large distance from each other. The stereo signal is split into two mono channels so that they can be mixed separately. Both channels are color coded.
The high-quality metal REAN® by NEUTRIK® connectors can be unscrewed and are protected from damage by an anti-kink protection. Contacts are gold plated to prevent corrosion.
A conductor area of 0.22 mm² and a braided shield made of bare copper wires ensure lossless data transmission. The length of the cable before the branch is about 15 cm, and it is protected from damage by a tension-relieving clamp.
