The AERO-20A is a compact line array system that embraces the ALAS™ philosophy and builds on the astounding success of the versatile capabilities of the AERO-12A launched in 2009. AERO-20A uses the latest technical solutions and advances in converter design, power electronics and system control. The low and mid range includes a 12" DAS driver optimized for high performance and reliability. A lightweight aluminum voice coil paired with a new fiberglass reinforced cone, an optimized magnet circuit and a new suspension design all contribute significantly to the 12AN4's exceptional performance in terms of distortion, handling and maximum SPL.

The high-frequency response is based on the M-75N compression driver, which uses a powerful neodymium magnet structure, titanium diaphragm and 75mm (3") voice coil. The M-75N is connected to a new aluminum waveguide that has been designed without resonances and provides a natural sound.

The AERO-20A is constructed using birch plywood and finished with an ISO-flex finish for superior protection and durability. The nodes remove heat from the components by controlling power compression. An injection-molded aluminum heat sink housing the amplifier and related electronics is attached to the back of the cabinet. The locking system can be activated using the anchoring angles between adjacent hulls during laying and lifting procedures. Safe rigging and precise aiming is achieved with the AX rigging system and a low profile bar that reduces the space required between the top of the rigging and the top of the array.
