Ascada 2.0 is more than ordinary Bluetooth speakers. This is an active, high-quality loudspeaker from HECO with an integrated stereo amplifier and versatile connectivity. The stereo amplifier module delivers 35 watts RMS power to each speaker. Chassis includes Silk-Compound membrane hemispheres with aluminum Wave Control sonic guides, as well as improved midrange drivers with long-fiber paper membrane and heavy-duty voice coil. The result is maximum fidelity, consistent sound levels and natural stereo ambiance.

Audio signals can be fed to the HECO device in various ways. For wireless listening, a Bluetooth version with built-in aptX support has been developed. This High End audio standard provides CD-quality wireless signal transmission. The digital signal is also transmitted through the Ascada 2.0 optical and coaxial input. The highlight of this stereo system is the ability to connect to a PC as an external audio device. The internal analog-to-digital converter is superior in all respects to converters in a stationary PC or laptop. The connection between the PC and Ascada 2.0 is easily established via USB. Of course, the device also accepts analog signals, for which it has an analog input.
