All-weather subwoofer Polk Audio ATRIUM 100 Sub Terra Cotta

The Polk Audio Atrium Sub 100 is housed in a rugged, sealed synthetic resin enclosure that is resistant to adverse environmental conditions as well as mechanical stress. The flat top base allows the Polk Audio Atrium Sub 100 to be used, for example, as a houseplant stand when placed on a terrace. The subwoofer is equipped with a 10" woofer, which is mounted on the bottom of the cabinet and points downwards. The woofer is made using the patented Dynamic Balance technology, which eliminates sound distortion even at high listening volumes. Its diffuser is made of composite material, thanks to which it is resistant to high ambient humidity. The diffuser suspension is made of butyl rubber, which has excellent elasticity with high mechanical strength. The woofer has two voice coils, so it can be connected to a stereo amplifier without the use of additional switching. Capacitive coupling technology and a built-in crossover prevent the subwoofer from being overloaded by signals outside its frequency band. To connect to the amplifier, the subwoofer has a 4-wire cable 1 meter long, which is designed for laying directly in the ground.

Polk Audio Atrium Sub 100 is equipped with a special anchor bolt that digs into the ground, preventing unauthorized movement of the subwoofer. A protective grille is available as an option for the Polk Audio Atrium Sub 100.
