The Van Den Hul The Name interconnect cable is coaxial and has a stable 75 ohm impedance that is precisely maintained throughout its length. This makes the connector versatile and can be used not only for analog audio, but also for digital SPDIF or composite video if needed.

The cable has an outer diameter of 7.3 mm and is flexible enough to be easily routed in any environment. Van Den Hul The Name is equipped with a double shield to reliably protect the conductor from external electrical interference. The central core is a mono conductor with a diameter of 1.1 mm, due to which it has a low self-resistance. Van Den Hul The Name can be used to transmit weak audio signals over long distances without distortion or loss.

The conductor, as well as the shield braid used as the common wire, are made of highly purified oxygen-free monocrystalline copper and plated with a thin layer of silver. Van Den Hul The Name uses a highly stable dielectric as its insulating material, providing a capacitance of 59 pF/meter. The cable is equipped with high-quality RCA connectors with gold-plated contact surfaces, in which Teflon is used as a dielectric.

With good flexibility, the connector is reliable and resistant to mechanical stress. The connectors are mounted at the company's factory in such a way as to protect the connection from oxidation. Van Den Hul The Name comes in stereo pairs in standard lengths from 0.6 to 1.5 meters, which is optimal for switching audio equipment installed in a standard rack. The connector has a neutral sound character and provides high detail. This model can be used anywhere in the audio interface - between a signal source and an amplifier, or between a preamplifier and a final amplifier.
