When designing the Atlas Element Achromatic interconnect cable, the company's engineers were tasked with creating a high-quality, entry-level interconnect. The cable has an improved specification to match the Element Superior Integra cable from the previous series, which received many international awards and proved to be one of the most successful products.

The Element Achromatic signal conductor is fully shielded and made from high quality OCC copper, designed and constructed to provide maximum resistance to radio frequency interference (RFI) that can increase noise levels in a poorly shielded cable. Foamed polyethylene is used as a dielectric. Braided copper screen provides effective suppression of electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

Atlas Element Achromatic comes with proprietary lightweight achromatic non-magnetic Achromatic RCA connectors. Connectors are cold-welded without soldering, eliminating unwanted signal path barriers and greatly minimizing loss. The result is a cable that offers great 3D sound and a high level of detail, without the artificial brilliance of many budget cables, and has proven to be an excellent base for future system improvements.
