The cable's stranded conductors are made of silver-plated oxygen-free copper and cross-linked polyethylene XLPE is used as insulation material. Double-layer shielding provides effective signal protection from electromagnetic and microwave interference. The outer shell made of polyvinyl chloride and gray nylon braid has good flexibility, high mechanical strength and wear resistance.
The sound of the Chord Company Epic cable is transparent, detailed, and naturally conveys the texture of vocals and musical instruments. The cable is factory terminated with Neutrik balanced XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts to ensure a reliable connection and accurate signal transmission.
