The AudioQuest MacKenzie XLR-XLR cable utilizes the best copper variant developed by the firm's metallurgists, Perfect-Surface Copper+ PSC+. Mackenzie uses Nitrogen-Injected Foamed-Polyethylene as insulation material.
Shielding of 100% of the surface is easily carried out. AQ's Noise-Dissipation System is used to prevent the equipment's ground terminal from being modulated by captured RFI. Thanks to it, a significant part of the RFI does not reach the ground plane of the equipment.
