The Klipsch KL-525-THX speaker system is designed for home theater use based on models of the THX Ultra2 series in the front channels. However, if necessary, this speaker can be installed as a rear speaker, as well as in stereo systems designed to play music.           

Klipsch KL-525-THX is made in a closed case of almost cubic shape, convenient for installation not only on racks, but also hanging on the wall (on a standard bracket, for fixing which there are holes on the rear panel of the speakers). Also, the speaker can be placed in a closed niche inside cabinet furniture or a false wall in such a way that only its front panel remains visible. Like the entire THX Ultra2 series , the KL-525-THX was developed on the basis of the same design solutions as the company's professional acoustics designed for real cinemas. As a result, the KL-525-THX speakers are highly reliable and the sound space they create is exceptionally realistic.

The speaker system is equipped with a titanium dome tweeter, which is loaded on the patented Tractorix horn (90 x 60 degrees). Klipsch's horn driver design, which has been in use in its acoustics since its introduction more than 60 years ago, allows for increased efficiency, dynamic range and sound richer, yet detailed at the same time. In addition, the tweeter's horn loading ensured that the loudspeaker's frequency response exactly matched the THX Ultra2 standard without the need for additional filters.

The woofers in the speaker also feature a patented design and feature 133mm Cerametallic combo cones, die-cast aluminum baskets and powerful magnets. There are two pairs of screw terminals for connection to the amplifier.            

The body of the KL-525-THX is made of MDF, dampened with internal ties and has a Galaxy Black finish, and the front panel is additionally covered with a black anodized aluminum sheet. The speaker is completed with a removable protective grid.
