Acoustic system Sonus Faber ELECTA AMATOR III
Price per couple
This year, the Italian brand Sonus Faber is celebrating its 35th anniversary, and one of the festive releases will be the Electa Amator III bookshelf speaker. The first version of the Electa Amator was released in 1987, the second in 1989, and the current update incorporates the features of these models that brought the brand worldwide success.
The cabinet is made of walnut and is attached to the Carrara marble base with brass spacers. The front and back panels are handcrafted in leather, while the complete aluminum uprights are anodized black. The marble base of the acoustics and the stands are also insulated from each other with a layer of brass.
The speakers are equipped with two speakers - a proprietary DAD soft-dome tweeter with a diameter of 28 mm and a 6.5-inch mid/bass driver. The crossover is built using Paracross technology with Clarify Cap ESA capacitors, and, according to a press release, due to this, the speakers sound “sweeter” and resemble models of the 90s.
Acoustics plays in the range from 40 Hz to 35 kHz, has a sensitivity of 88 dB.
In Europe, the cost of the anniversary Electa Amator III will be 10,000 euros, including racks. The start of sales is scheduled for November.
