Acoustic system Opera Loudspeaker CALLAS
The Callas model is a two-way compact high-quality bass-reflex speaker system that incorporates all the advantages of the High-End Callas series and at the same time is able to work in small rooms.
The hull of Callas, with a volume of 15 liters, is made of high-quality plywood bent in a special way and individual elements made of MDF. The case wall thickness varies from 25 mm on the side walls to 50 mm on the front panel. The front and rear panels of the Grand Callas are finished with high-quality artificial leather to minimize cabinet resonances. The top panel of the new Callas is made of thick aluminum sheet, which gives even more inertness and resonance protection to the speaker cabinet.
The speakers used in Callas are made by two renowned manufacturers to the specifications of Opera engineers. The mid/bass driver is a 7" polypropylene cone driver manufactured by SEAS. Exactly the same speaker is installed in the older model of the series - the outdoor Grand Callas. The silk dome tweeter is a variation of the famous Scanspeak 9700 speaker, previously used only in such famous Opera models as Malibran, Caruso, Tebaldi.
The crossovers used in Callas have the same topology and element base as in the top Opera models (Malibran, Tabaldi, Caruso).
