Sonus Faber brings true Italian design to creativity at its best by restyled the Homage series, the company's most iconic series, which has been completely reimagined in keeping with its rich experience and diverse heritage.

New Homage Tradition Series!
Created in Italy, in the best tradition of Sonus Faber, the new series has a classic design, with an emphasis on the “Retro” style, where the lute shape is still the historical basis of the composition, but the technical components, finishes and design have been completely updated.

Project
The patents and technological solutions used in the models Lilium, Il Cremonese and Olympica have found further evolution in Homage Tradition. The "Stealth Ultraflex" system used is an evolution of the "Stealth Reflex", its outer part is located on the rear panel of the acoustics, made of aluminum and regulates the air flow, while controlling its speed, thereby reducing turbulence and, therefore, distortion. The entire back panel is also part of the new Exosqueleton system along with Dampshelves on the top and bottom of the case. The Guarneri and Serafino models are equipped with so-called "silent spikes". These are metal/elastomer/metal coaxial studs, which are the patented "ZVT" (Zero Vibration Transmission - Zero Vibration Transmission) system and were previously used in the Il Cremonese model. The Amati model retained the classic optimized suspension system.

The mid-high frequency module used throughout the Homage Tradition series was borrowed from Il Cremonese and further developed.

Design
The shape of the section of the transverse part of the body of the collection repeats the shape of the lute, and is the result of careful research and the basis of restyling. The geometry of the side lines of the case has changed, and has become similar to the Lilium model, which gives it smaller visual dimensions, but at the same time provides a large internal volume, making it less prone to resonances.

A distinctive feature of the updated design of the Homage Tradition series is the upper part, which is now made of wood in the same finish as the entire body.

The stands for the Guarneri model play a key role in the development of this acoustic project. They are made of carbon fiber monocoque technology, which was made possible thanks to the experience gained from working with Pagani Automobili and the design of the Ex3ma model. The curved shape of the stands, despite the reduction in weight compared to their predecessors, provides high structural rigidity and makes them more acoustically transparent.
