Due to the great success of our (discontinued) PATCHBAY B5 in its use as a universal audio connection, we have introduced the BAY C5 HYBRID: a coaxial (unbalanced) HYBRID version of our balanced PATCHBAY B5.
Low price and excellent value for money. The BAY C5 HYBRID has been specifically designed for universal and automotive hi-fi communications applications. The BAY C5 HYBRID, however, is also ideal for wiring an internal (pre-)amplifier and mixing console, and as an unbalanced interconnect in a patch panel.
The combination in design of excellent transmission quality, low conductor-to-conductor capacitance, very high shielding factor, together with high mechanical flexibility and long service life, although not easy to control, has been successfully achieved.
The high quality conductive material used in this cable is a large OFC die with a dense silver coating.
In addition, the BAY C5 HYBRID is fully equipped with Linear Structured Carbon® (LSC) impregnated layers, which are standard on our more expensive cable products. These layers greatly improve transparency and rendering; By electrically bridging any defects in the metal cyst, stable conduction is achieved at the lowest signal levels.
In a coil of 200 m packed in the format 275 x 275 x 220 mm. box with a total weight of 7.33 kg.
The two ends of the coiled cable are covered with caps to prevent the ingress of chemically contaminated air.
