The CAT5E30M cable with CAT5E insulation provides a bi-directional digital audio signal transmission line and is equipped with Neutrik etherCON NE8MC-1 carrier connectors with built-in gasket to provide IP54 water protection for high reliability, especially during concerts and festivals. When used with MIDAS PRO, M Series and KLARK TEKNIK, which are equipped with HyperMAC and copper wire interfaces, the CAT5E30M cable can carry up to 192 bi-directional channels of 24-bit digital audio at 96 kHz sampling rate. The CAT5E30M also supports 24 bi-directional channels and 48 bi-directional channels at 96 kHz sampling rate and 48 kHz sampling rate respectively for AES50 connections. The CAT5E30M can be used for standard Ethernet applications and is suitable for both 100Mbps and Gigabit networks.

The CAT5E30M cable uses Belden 1305A high strength, high quality unshielded cable with a nominal diameter of 7.6mm. The 1305A cable features 24 AWG stranded (7/32) polyolefin insulated copper conductors and PVC inner and outer jackets.
