The E Series makes achieving this goal easy: each one is designed to easily fit into most budget and mid-priced turntables.
The top of the line E3 cartridge features the same aluminum cantilever as the E2 but features a superior linked super-elliptical stylus (0.3 x 0.7 mil). It provides more detailed high frequency reproduction than conventional elliptical (0.4 x 0.7 mil) or spherical (0.6 mil) types due to its smaller front to back radius. The main benefit is the reduction of sibilance, especially noticeable when recording vocals at high levels.

Goldring
All cartridges in the series use Magnetic Duplex™ technology - a generator assembly with a double magnet and identical geometry to the original cutting head. This allows for more accurate reproduction of stereo information from the record groove, providing better channel separation and a deeper, more musical soundstage.
Expert tuning
E-Series cartridges are designed for micro-adjustments during production using a special adjustment screw. This means that the cartridge can be safely installed on a typical turntable because the angle at which the stylus interacts with the record surface is pre-set. The result is optimized channel balance without the need for horizontal tracking adjustments. This ensures consistent and reliable sound quality throughout the life of the product.
Stylus/Cantilever
Model E1 and E2 cartridges feature spherical styluses with a choice of cantilevers, making them ideal for upgrading any budget, pre-installed or legacy cartridge. Featuring an improved super-elliptical stylus, the E3 is a valuable upgrade for those looking to extract even more information and detail from the record groove.
