Acoustic Energy AE 307 Center has a traditional configuration for speakers of this class. On its front panel there are two woofers with a diameter of 110 with an aluminum cone on an elastic rubber suspension, providing its piston movement with a large amplitude. The speakers are equipped with a brand new tweeter with a 28 mm fabric dome. According to its characteristics, AE 307 Center is fully consistent with the rest of the speakers in the series, however, it can be successfully used in a home theater equipped with speaker systems from other popular brands. To expand the range of reproducible low frequencies, the speakers have a slot-type phase inverter, displayed on the front panel. This solution made it possible to install the AE 307 Center close to the wall (for example, on a wall shelf under the TV), or in blind furniture niches. The cabinet of the acoustic systems is made of fiberboard 18 mm thick, has deep internal damping, and is additionally reinforced with ties. The exterior finish of this speaker, like all models in this series, is very elegant. The body of the AE 307 Center is covered with piano lacquer (black or white), which hides the joints of the panels, and also serves as an additional blanking of the walls. The protective mesh to the front panel, which has a thin rubber coating, is attached using invisible magnetic latches. The AE 307 Center has a near-neutral tonal balance to accurately capture the actors' voices, and a wide dynamic range to work out all the sound effects right. Let's not forget that it is the center channel speakers that carry the main load when playing multi-channel sound in a home theater, and the AE 307 Center does an excellent job of this job.
