The Italians have always associated their models with real music and art. The Sonetto series is no exception, because its name contains poetry, or, simply put, a sonnet. For those who are not familiar with musical terms, a sonnet is an eleven-syllable verse with a plot-emotional turning point. It’s not for nothing that Sonus Faber is a trendsetter in the luxury High End segment — Italians make products that look beautiful, sound and even have a name! The new line is positioned by the manufacturer in a niche between Olympica and Venere and becomes the most affordable Made in Italy series, as it is entirely assembled in Vicenza at the Sonus Faber factory.

The Sonetto speaker cabinets feature the traditional SF lute shape, which not only looks elegant, but also helps combat internal resonances, enhancing the sound. Moreover, the front panel smoothly passes into the side walls, improving the perception of the whole image of the speakers. Another traditional touch to the image of premium speakers is the top panel covered with handmade leather with the company logo. There are things that hands reach out to touch, just such an element of the speakers is the front panel with chic leather, which you want to feel with your fingertips. From such small elements, an aura of owning a premium product is created.

But not only the creations of Italian masters are famous for their design, Sonetto has something to boast of from a technological point of view. All models feature DAD's signature silk dome tweeters, aluminum cone woofers, and cellulose and other natural fiber cone midrange drivers. Speakers (even bookshelf speakers) have become easier to place with a bass reflex port installed at the base of the speakers. All models are available in three colors: matte white, black lacquer and wood.

To match the scope of the large Sonetto floorstanders, Sonus Faber engineers have added a massive Sonetto Center II to the lineup, which can handle powerful passages from The Lord of the Rings both at high volume and in a large room. This 16 kg center channel is equipped with five speakers, takes 300 watts without any problems and sounds like a small floor-standing speaker - from 42 Hz. The Sonetto Center II also mounts on a special stand that allows you to direct the sound exactly at the listener, who will be in the middle of a raging special effects storm.
