The Dali Epicon Vokal is a new, uncompromising center speaker designed for home cinema lovers. It is equipped with two 6 ½ bass/mid drivers and a hybrid tweeter module. This speaker system provides the same level of sound transparency as other models in the series, perfectly matching them in timbre.

The Dali Epicon Vokal pairs perfectly with any speaker in the EPICON series, making it a perfect fit for any set that requires not only sonic realism, but real sound pressure as well. All EPICON speakers work well in combination with 2.0, 2.1, 5.1 and other multi-channel systems. Typically, in a film, about 50% of the acoustic energy passes through the center channel. The Dali Epicon Vokal can handle it, because it skillfully coordinates the timbre and has the ability to convey the finest nuances as they were recorded in the studio. And she can faithfully reproduce human voices. Non-linear distortion in the speakers is removed by an innovative magnetic system with a linear drive (Linear Drive Magnet System). Separate elements of the magnetic system are made of soft magnetic compound (SMC), which removes the magnetic field strength in the gap. This SMC material is highly linear over the entire frequency range and also eliminates the phase variations in the forces generated by the magnetic system. The voice coil inductance is lowered by the aluminum rings on the pole pieces, so it is independent of movement.

The Dali Epicon Vokal features a hybrid tweeter module that has been specifically designed for the EPICON series. The ribbon and dome tweeters are placed on a separate cast aluminum plate, but in isolated compartments to avoid the influence of resonances.
