Goka GK-R36A Turntable Cartridge Alignment Protractor
The Goka GK-R36A protractor provides precise adjustment of the turntable cartridge, which improves sound quality and prevents premature wear of records. It is made of white acrylic and has a hole for the turntable spindle.
The process of use is very simple: the cartridge must be fixed in the tonearm head, but not tightened too much, so as to leave room for its movement. Then the protractor is placed on the turntable spindle and the position of the needle is adjusted over point "A", which is marked on the conveyor. Next, the cartridge is aligned so that its sides are parallel to the lines on the conveyor. The same procedure is repeated for point "B". After this, it is necessary to make sure that the cartridge has the same angle of inclination over both points, and fasten the screws to securely fix the cartridge in the tonearm head.
