The ULTRA-DI DI20 is an innovative active 2-channel DI box/splitter that takes the signal directly from an unbalanced high-impedance output - say, an electric guitar or bass - and sends it directly to a mixing console or recorder. Its place is in the "gig bag" of any musician (especially a guitarist or bassist), as well as among the standard equipment of studio, radio, concert or entertainment engineers, or installation technicians.

The DI20 converts 2 separate unbalanced 1/4" inputs to 2 balanced XLR outputs. 2-channel and Link modes of operation provide flexible use as a mono or 2-channel DI box or splitter. In Link mode, the signal channel 1 is fed simultaneously to both balanced XLR outputs and an unbalanced 1/4" channel 2 output. With a 3-position attenuator, the input level can be up to +48 dBu, while the Ground Lift switch eliminates common grounding problems. Powered by battery (9V) or phantom power (48V). The device is made of reliable components in a compact, extremely rugged housing.
