Digital cable Interconnect Silent Wire NF 33 Ag XLR 0.6 m

In commemoration of the five-year anniversary of its founding and as a special thank you to its customers, the German cable manufacturer Silent Wire presents the newly developed NF33 AG interconnect cable (in balanced and unbalanced versions).

The cables are equipped with the highest quality connectors - NextGen WBT 0110 AG or Neutrik XLR with silver contacts. A completely new alloy with a silver content of 98.56% has been specially developed for this cable. The acoustic performance and sound of the anniversary NF33 AG is comparable to the much more expensive Silent Wire cables.

The cable is supplied in a special case and is supplied with a quality certificate with a serial number certifying the authenticity of the cable, with the personal signatures of the assembler and technologist. The heat shrink tubing next to the connectors shows the direction of current for correct connection. The internal construction of the cable, especially its symmetrical version, is quite complex.

Three identical cores are held in position by special guides, the conductor cross section is 0.27 mm2 (0.82 mm2 for the symmetrical version).

In both versions, the conductors are braided with thin fluoroplating threads, which forms an air gap, which significantly improves the signal conductivity and reduces losses.

The singularity of the unbalanced version is that the signal returns through the screen, and not through the second inner conductor, as is most often done in High-End cables. The screen, whose composition is kept secret, is made of the same alloy as the center conductor. This revolutionary alloy required many experiments and was developed in collaboration with leading German technical universities. And I must say, the result is really amazing! Despite the design differences, the RCA and XLR versions of the NF33 AG sound nearly identical. Both versions use the same materials, but differ in cross-section and conductor arrangement. It's truly amazing that the relatively simple design of an unbalanced cable with shield return sounds so good. When compared to the interconnect cable, Silent Wire NF33 AG shows significant differences - more depth, dynamics, energy, a better sense of presence and significantly less coloration of the signal.
