FX-Audio offers the DAC-X4, a digital/analog converter with headphone amplifier, at a very affordable price. It uses a DAC01 conversion chip to support PCM sampling rates up to 24bit 192kHz. It is coupled to a MAX97220 headphone amplifier IC delivering 2x150mW of power into a 32Ω load.

In terms of connections, the DAC-X4 remains classic and efficient, with USB-B, optical Toslink, and coaxial inputs. In terms of outputs, we just find stereo RCA and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
