Our goal with the V90-DAC was to make the world's best DAC without breaking the bank.

When you look at any high-end DAC, the first thing that catches your eye is its massive body. As far as we know, this does not affect its technical or sound characteristics in any way. Remove the cover and in most cases you'll find a complex layout that suggests performance. However, upon further analysis, it turns out that the actual work of signal processing and data conversion is performed by about a dozen components. Everything else is decoration designed to create the appearance of competence. These observations formed the basis of the V90-DAC concept.

We wanted to create the world's best DAC, but sell it at a fair price. Using the latest design technologies and components, we set out to create a DAC with the highest specifications in a modest and inexpensive package.

If you search, you'll find the occasional DAC that claims to perform slightly better than the V90-DAC in one area or another, but doesn't outperform it overall. There are plenty of competitors screaming about their new, wonderful version of the "Emperor's New Clothes", but they offer virtually nothing in actual specs to back up their claims. There is a lot of talk about subjective characteristics, but all this is just a matter of opinion.

V90-DAC is a fact. Its technical and sound characteristics are excellent. There are better DACs, but they can cost twenty to thirty times more.
