DAC and amplifier Ferrum ERCO Gen 2
Ferrum Audio's product range has expanded with a new headphone converter/amplifier. The new product is called Erco Gen 2 and is the second generation of a device already on the market. It is claimed that the new model, despite its low cost, is close in sound quality to the Wandla flagship.

Updates in ERCO Gen2
The generation I/V converter exhibits better overall performance, and the SERCE DSP engine provides oversampling using the preferred digital filter HQ Apodizing via DDF, which allows maximum use of the DAC chip, almost replicating the performance of WANDLA. Finally, the maximum resolution is now PCM 768 kHz and DSD512.
Suitable for personal high-end audio
Connect your favorite headphones to a balanced 4.4mm jack or unbalanced 6.35mm headphone jack or powered desktop speakers to the XLR or RCA outputs for maximum performance.
Hybrid discrete/integrated circuit design
Ultra-wideband ICs fine-tuned for audio applications to achieve the best analog quality.
Ease of use
Intuitive and easy operation is achieved with just three knobs on the front panel to control the most important settings.
Patented technology
Industry-leading technologies were used during development. All digital ports are optimized for audio, MQA decoding and rendering are optimized for use with the ARM chip.
Fully balanced circuit
The signal follows a truly balanced path from the initial D/A conversion stage, and the signal goes through a fully balanced path even when using RCA inputs.
Superior Sound Transparency
ERCO's design focuses on a balanced and maximally transparent sound signature, so you don't feel tired while listening.
Ferrum Power Link proprietary power system
ERCO works very, very well right out of the box. But ERCO is designed to exceed all expectations when used in conjunction with HYPSOS. We use what we call Ferrum Power Link (FPL for short) to connect them. Then HYPSOS will demonstrate its full potential, revealing unrivaled musicality in combination with ERCO.
Unique output cable design
Two wires for power supply and two wires for feedback to ensure stable voltage at all times. This method is called Ferrum Power Link (FPL), and it eliminates the harmful effects of cable resistance, effectively improving transient performance. The speed of current delivery to the input of the powered device has also been significantly improved.
ERCO comes with a carefully selected DC power adapter. To get the most out of the ERCO, you can connect it to the HYPSOS using our proprietary Ferrum Power Link DC power cable. This FPL cable can be ordered separately.
