The Q750 is an intermediate model of the Q Series floor standing speakers, using KEF's unique Uni-Q driver technology, which is paired with a new 165mm (6.5") long-throw bass driver and similarly sized passive drivers (ABR) . Featuring the latest enhancements in acoustic design and design, the Q750 floorstanding speaker reproduces sound with high resolution, extraordinary depth and exceptional clarity.

At the heart of the evolved Q series is an array of Uni-Q drivers. The brand's innovation is to place the tweeter at the center of the mid-range driver, bringing the design closer than ever to the acoustically ideal parameters of a single point sound source. In most loudspeakers, the tweeters and midrange drivers are stacked one on top of the other, so that the sound comes from two different points, resulting in acoustic "confusion" and the loss of truly natural sound. With the Uni-Q driver, the mid-range and tweeters are placed at the same point in space, allowing them to work in perfect harmony to create an ideal sound field for the listener with a convincingly natural sound. The result is a more detailed, accurate 3D sound image that is distributed more evenly throughout the room than is possible with any conventional speaker. Ultra-wide Uni-Q dispersion is further enhanced through the Tangerine KEF waveguide above the tweeter dome.
From the listener's point of view, the combination of consistent directivity and accurate timing in all directions greatly enhances the stereo image in a wide listening area, further enhanced by the even balance of reverberation in the listening room.

With the addition of a dampened tweeter loading tube to gently dampen the sound produced from the rear of the tweeter, lower high frequencies are dramatically improved, while a new low distortion crossover inductor delivers cleaner bass.

The low-frequency (LF) drivers now feature a larger suspension circumference, as well as a new shim suspension for cleaner bass at higher volume levels. A new cone design improves mid-range clarity, while an improved passive bass radiator (ABR) with new external and rear suspension delivers better controlled and more impressive bass.
