Two speakers with 5.25" cone with Turbine technology

Polk designed this cone specifically for our flagship products to provide natural reproduction of the mid-range to which human ears are particularly sensitive. The cone core is made from Polk's proprietary polymer foam, and a special asymmetric geometry significantly increases stiffness and damping without adding mass. You'll hear every detail and experience smooth, detailed midrange and effortless bass.

All-new patented X-Port bass reflex (ETF) from Polk

Polk's newly patented X-Port bass reflex features an Eigentone Filter (ETF) for distortion-free, effortless bass. Consists of a set of closed-loop tubular absorbers specifically tuned to capture and eliminate traditional speaker distortion. X-Port ensures that the upper bass and midrange are free of port and cabinet resonances for smooth, detailed sound.

Built for best chassis performance

Polk believes that cabinets should be beautiful without affecting the sound in any way. Reserve Series cabinets, bracing and internals are carefully designed to minimize unwanted internal standing waves and eliminate resonances. The result is a cabinet that is completely vibration-free for clear, accurate melody reproduction.

Top Module Compatible

These speakers can be used in any home theater as front speakers just as successfully as for rear or side sound design. For complete immersion, add overhead sound. To do this, use the R900 module compatible with these speakers, which is supplied separately.
