Sonus Faber Venere S is the most powerful 3-way speaker in the Venere series. It is equipped with three 180mm woofers that meet the highest standards. Designed and assembled entirely by hand in Arcugnano (Italy), the speakers are the perfect bridge between the Venere and Olympica product families. Thanks to carefully thought-out design and precise implementation of solutions, the speakers form a correct and detailed sound stage. The Signature model inherits the design features of Venere and has electro-acoustic qualities that are closely related to the best traditions of the brand. That is why the letter S in the name means Signature (signature, characteristic feature, feature).
Sonus Faber is always at its best when it comes to starting a development from scratch, or re-examining an existing design, even if it means starting over and creating a new version in order to offer audiophiles a quality that reaches the heights of excellence and also meets the tradition of creating loudspeakers, thanks to which this Italian brand has become famous all over the world.
This three-way floorstanding speaker, unlike other Venere speakers, features a new bass reflex port design. Instead of mounting it on the front panel to reduce unwanted interaction with the environment, the company's specialists placed it at the bottom of the case, pointing down to the floor. Thanks to this solution, it was possible to maintain the purity of the sound transmission and not "pollut" it with parasitic vibrations generated by powerful speakers.
Drawing on experience gained from designing the Olympica series, the Venere S speaker baskets were custom-designed by Sonus Faber using ##QUOT##Ultra Free Compression##QUOT## injection molding technology to minimize the noise generated by moving speakers. converter details.
All Venere S drivers have been custom built to Sonus Faber Venere S specifications. The three cones of the Sonus Faber Venere S low frequency transducers are made of aluminum, which ensures maximum lightness and rigidity of the diaphragms to achieve fast response to sharp dynamic changes in the low frequency spectrum.
The midrange drivers are equipped with a Curv™ membrane made from a special thermoformed polypropylene fiber, which provides the ideal solution for completely natural sound reproduction of the main part of the audio spectrum.
High frequencies are reproduced using a high-frequency head equipped with a silk membrane. It was made by Kurt Mueller, the world's best manufacturer of moving parts. The tweeter is mechanically decoupled with a special elastic material that is placed inside to avoid micro-vibration resulting from the intense activity of other speakers. This solution provides higher fidelity and micro-dynamics, allowing for an extremely focused soundstage.
