The AE309 is a new floorstanding loudspeaker with compact dimensions, suitable for medium to large rooms.

A new thin line speaker with compact dimensions, the AE309 adopts two latest 130mm mid-bass drivers and a 28mm aluminum tweeter and rear panel hole.

A new 25mm aluminum tweeter has been developed for the 300 series which delivers high power and low fundamental resonance to reduce distortion. However, the main advantage of this new design is the excellent dispersion characteristics due to Wide Dispersion Technology. The waveguides shape the acoustic output of the tweeter in accordance with the woofer and provide a wider tone in the listening environment.

The high-density 18mm MDF cabinet uses proprietary mounting technology derived from the award-winning Reference Series, allowing the new transducers to breathe freely in the listening environment. The perforated channel at the rear of the speaker enhances bass output and has been carefully designed to reduce the effect of air turbulence on clear, undistorted bass performance. Bulk loading combined with 8mm floor spikes provides stability and a solid foundation for drive units to operate without resonances from the chassis interacting with the floor surface.

The result of this latest drive technology and cabinet design is a slim, powerful floorstanding loudspeaker for the discerning listener where improved sound quality combined with elegant aesthetics is paramount.
