Acoustic system DALI OBERON 7 Black Ash
Price per couple
The DALI OBERON 7 floor standing speakers are a perfect example of DALI's ideas, traditions and inventions in an elegant, modern form. OBERON is a new frontier of what is possible in this price range, both in terms of sound quality and visual design.

In 2018, the older model of the Dali Oberon 7 floorstanding speaker system comes to replace the Dali Zensor 7 speaker system. The DALI Oberon 7 speaker system is the flagship model in the new Oberon line. With a height of 101 cm, the Dali Oberon 7 is highly visible in medium to large rooms. It attracts attention not only with its size, but also with a completely modern look, combining elements of the Art Nouveau style with a willingness to give out full-blooded sound sensations in a fairly large living volume.
The Dali Oberon 7 has all the benefits of technologies borrowed directly from the DALI High End speaker families. This is the only Oberon model equipped with a pair of 7-inch (178 mm) woofers, which, in terms of total cone area, significantly exceed typical speakers in this price category and allow you to reproduce genuine musical dynamics without much effort. The suspension design and the proprietary wood fiber cone ensure excellent soundstage reproduction and long listening pleasure. The new 29mm tweeter features a soft fabric dome that is half the weight of most competitors, allowing for much more accurate reproduction of subtle details at high frequencies. In general, the new AS revises many of the standards that were previously established in this price category.
Like all Oberons, the top model has such important advantages as rounded edges that reduce sound diffraction and related distortion. Massive aluminum details complete the design of the front panel, removable protective grilles provide flexibility in use, and a solid aluminum base provides greater stability. The narrow front of the Dali Oberon 7 features a polished lacquer finish, while the MDF side panels covered with furniture quality laminate in black ash, light oak, dark walnut or matte white finish also give the speakers an attractive appearance. Inside, the case is reinforced with bulkheads, the phase inverter port is brought to the front panel, there are premium quality speaker connectors (one pair).
The sound of the Dali Oberon 7 acoustics is fast, clear, with good resolution for its class and excellent intelligibility in the voice range. The upper frequencies are clean, transparent, unobtrusive. The middle is rich in timbre, the bass is quite deep, smooth and somewhat unhurried. When playing energetic rock music, when quickly plucking the strings of the double bass, there is a slight slowdown, smearing of the attack. If there is no musical information in this form in the composition, it is difficult to present any serious claims to the sound. Jazz, blues, classics, vocals, slow pop music sound very expressive and emotional. The specificity of the sound signature of this model is the invariable lightness, some kind of even refinement, which cannot be completely etched even by turning on heavy metal. At the same time, exceptional expressiveness, sometimes even penetrating sound, is preserved on heavy music in the area of mid and high frequencies. Dali Oberon 7 certainly has its own musical tastes, but these speakers cannot be called boring. In other words, the Dali Oberon 7 is not just another traditional loudspeaker, but a unique and modern system based on all the experience and core values of DALI.
