iFi GO link DAC and amplifier Black

The GO link houses a USB-C connector at one end and the DAC and headphone amplifier circuitry at the other, housed in a durable yet lightweight magnesium alloy housing.

Between them is a 6cm flex cable - this promotes practicality by allowing the DAC/amplifier section to be angled towards the listener and reducing strain on the USB port to which the GO link is connected.

DAC

At the heart of the GO link is the energy-efficient and high-performance DAC chip from ESS Technology's Saber HiFi series - ES9219MQ/Q - using a 32-bit HyperStream III architecture.

This, combined with Quad DAC+ and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technologies, as well as our custom clock circuit using a dedicated crystal oscillator, delivers ultra-low distortion, superb clarity and impressive dynamic range.

Rarely implemented high-quality features such as adjustable analog gain DRE (dynamic range extension), as well as technologies to minimize THD (total harmonic distortion) and crosstalk are possible thanks to the advanced specifications of the DAC chip.

You can also choose between a range of digital filters using downloadable software.

Make a turn

The cable connecting both sections uses silver-plated copper conductors with individual polymer insulation in a “twisted pair” configuration.

This helps optimize inductance and capacitance and also helps suppress noise. The sound of the GO link is not affected by electromagnetic interference from nearby electrical sources.

No distortion means you're ready to dance without interference.

Move with the music

Unlike other DAC/headphone amplifiers, the GO link does not rely on software volume controls on connected digital devices. This may have a negative impact on audio resolution.

Instead, the volume control on the connected device controls the volume on the GO link DAC, not on your phone, tablet, or computer. This hardware volume control is another feature that helps ensure the GO link's superior audio performance.

High resolution in stunning color

The GO link's high-resolution audio performance is impressive considering its diminutive size and price.

The LED changes color to indicate the incoming audio format - PCM, DSD or MQA - and the PCM/DSD sampling rate.

Headphone heaven

The GO link headphone amplifier is powered by a gold-plated 3.5mm jack incorporating our S-Balanced configuration to reduce noise and crosstalk.

It provides an output power of 70 mW into 32 ohms and a maximum output voltage of 2.05 V into 600 ohms. This gives it enough power to drive the headphones likely to be used with the GO link, and easily beats the headphone outputs built into smart devices and computers.
