Schiit Asgard 3 DAC & Headphone Amplifier

The Asgard 3 case is a compact aluminum box that does not take up much space on a table or shelf. On the front panel there is a volume wheel (encoder of extra class), a headphone jack (6.3 mm), two switches. The gain switch has two positions: low (low-gain), intended for IEMs with low impedance and high for high-impedance headphones, setting the gain to 15.6 dB. The second toggle switch enables/disables audio inputs (rear - a pair of sockets for "tulips" IN and a pair of OUT). Optionally, a high-quality Shiite DAC module is installed in Asgard-3 - delta-sigma based on AK4490 or True Multibit chips. The third upgrade option is to connect a phono stage module.

Each user who has a screwdriver can perform the operation of installing the expansion module independently. Instead of a plug, a USB-b port (DAC interface) or another pair of RCA jacks (phono stage interface) will appear on the rear panel. cascade made according to Schiit's own Continuity™ topology.
