The story about the equipment of the device is completed by a powerful Li-Ion battery that provides about 35 hours of audio broadcasting with ANC enabled; implemented and the option of fast charging (10 minutes of recharging = 5 hours of music).

40 mm dynamic drivers with diffusers made of liquid crystal polymer are responsible for working with sound impulses, which favorably affects the resolution and speed characteristics of the Sony 1000xm4 sound. In terms of sound tuning of the speakers, the situation is similar to the WH-1000XM3: the overall sound signature is repelled by a V-shaped frequency response, which emphasizes bass and treble. The bass itself is delivered densely, voluminously and energetically, while the treble is reproduced loudly, in detail and expressively. The mid frequencies (in turn), due to good weight, are recouped with almost no simplifications, delighting the listener with melodiousness and informativeness. Special attention deserves a rich resource for sound adjustment, available through proprietary Sony Headphones Connect software. In this application, the user can control noise reduction, select one of the equalizer presets, adjust the “behavior” of the virtual stage, and also use the DSEE Extreme upsampling system, whose task is to improve the sound of compressed files (MP3).
