The Japanese company Audio-Technica presents the updated flagship ATH-M50xBT2 wireless headphones. According to the manufacturer, the headphones have high definition and deep, accurate bass.
Updated features include improved voice pickup, dual microphone beamforming technology for clearer phone calls and conversations with the built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Added multipoint pairing, allowing users to wirelessly connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. The novelty has a low latency mode and compatibility with several audio codecs (AAC, SBC and LDAC). It is possible to adjust the equalizer settings and L/R volume balance in the AT Connect app.
Battery life is approximately 50 hours on a full charge and up to 3 hours on a 10-minute fast charge via USB-C connection. The ATH-M50xBT2 features large aperture 45mm drivers, a 90-degree foldable headphone design, and the ATH-M50x professional-grade ear pads and headband. Standard features include additional premium audio components such as the enhanced AK4331 audio DAC and a dedicated internal headphone amplifier.
The device has a self-test feature that allows users to hear their own voice through headphones when making calls on most smartphones, and convenient mute with the press of a button. Enabled volume and mute controls, music and calls, and access to voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri). The Fast Pair feature allows users to quickly pair the ATH-M50xBT2 with smartphones and Android devices with a single touch of the device.
