When setting up a turntable, it is important to properly adjust the cartridge pressure on the vinyl record to optimize the overall sound balance and prevent damage to the vinyl record.

Van den Hul's Cartridge Tracking Force Meter electronic scales are designed to adjust the tracking force of a pickup and determine the weight in the range from 0 to 5 grams with milligram accuracy. The scales are easy to set up, equipped with a backlit touch display and an automatic shut-off function.

To get started, you need to place the device on the disk of a vinyl player and lower the pickup needle into a special hole on the scales. When the Meter is turned on, the backlight of the electronic display lights up and goes out after 20 seconds to conserve battery power. By pressing the corresponding button, the display backlight can be switched on again.
