Tibetan cymbals, or ting sha, are small prayer chimes that were traditionally used in ceremonies in the Himalayan regions, including the countries of Nepal, Tibet and India.
They are often used in meditation, sound therapy, energetic room clearing, or as a musical instrument. Also often rung at the beginning and end of a yoga class, ting sha are great for space clearing, dispelling negative energy from the space.
Tibetan cymbals consist of two cymbals with a dragon embossed on them, connected by a leather strap. The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is engraved on the inside of the cymbals. Tibetan dragons are the protectors of Buddhism, whose loud voices awaken us from our delusions.
