Behringer X Dante is a 32-channel digital mixing console expansion board designed to enhance the recording and routing capabilities of a mixer with Dante Audio over Ethernet systems. The card connects to a port on the back of the device and provides 32 simultaneous channels of low-latency bi-directional audio with 100 Mbps accuracy or gigabit network infrastructure with DSCP-based QoS.

Signal transmission and Ethernet connection

The card can transmit a 24bit 48kHz signal and allows audio with mixed bits and sample rates to coexist on the network at the same time. In addition, a connection to a secondary Ethernet port can be configured for a redundant audio network.
