Stagebox Allen & Heath DX168
DX168 is a switching unit for the dLive digital mixing system, can be used both with the dLive S Class systems introduced the year before, and with the latest dLive C Class. The ALLEN & HEATH DX168 junction box has 16 XLR microphone inputs with preamps and 8 line outputs.
The DX168 is a rugged, portable expander for adding remote I/O to a dLiveSClass or dLiveCClass system.
The DX168 features 16-micron preamps with independent PhantomPower LEDs, as well as 8 XLR line outputs. Up to 6 DX168 units can be connected to a dLive system - 4 via MixRack and 2 via Surface - allowing for up to 96 remote inputs and 48 remote outputs in addition to those provided by MixRack and Surface.
The DX168 connects via a single Cat5e cable to dLive, MixRack, or to another DX168 via a secure EtherCon port. A second EtherCon port block is provided for connection to compatible equipment or for daisy chaining to another DX168 for additional remote I/O.
The durable design with rubber shock absorbers allows the DX168 to be placed directly on the stage floor during performances. Weighing just 4.8 kg and featuring a durable carrying handle, the DX168 offers the convenience and portability needed for rentals, education, houses of worship and many other environments. Includes optional 4U rack mounting hardware that allows the DX168 to be installed in standard 19-inch racks.
