The WX502/O is a powerful loudspeaker specially designed for outdoor use, providing realistic reproduction of music and speech with high fidelity. It features a 1” dome tweeter and a 5 1/4” woofer capable of delivering 50W of power. Can be used in standard 8 ohm systems as well as 100 volt systems with 40W, 20W and 10W taps.
The material used for the mounting bracket on outdoor versions has been improved with the use of aluminum, making the WX MK2 series even more resistant to extreme weather conditions. The bracket allows users to mount the WX502/O both vertically and horizontally.
The special powder coating treatment provides the necessary protection against all weather conditions. Because of this, the brackets can withstand the 96 hour salt spray test. A drain hole behind the aluminum grille allows water to drain out, and a rotating 5-pole waterproof connector ensures the speaker is IP55 rated.
