The dedicated MusicCast CONTROLLER app lets you use your smartphone or tablet to easily and conveniently select your desired songs and music streaming services, control volume, and more. You can also use the app on your smartphone to remotely control all MusicCast compatible devices in other rooms.

The WXAD-10 supports a wide range of high definition formats including WAV, FLAC and AIFF at 192kHz/24-bit and ALAC at 96kHz/24-bit. In addition, the unit uses a special circuit that minimizes and optimizes the signal path, and uses high-quality parts and technologies - including the famous Burr-Brown DAC, original PML capacitors used in Yamaha receivers, and Yamaha's own original technology.

The key device that determines the sound quality of a network is a genuine Yamaha network module containing a low-jitter clock that enhances sound reproduction from high-resolution sources. The clean generation of audio signals with no added jitter component initiated by the low-jitter clock drastically reduces the generation of jitter noise in network playback and from Bluetooth® sources.

Featuring a ceramic-like matte finish with soft indentations on the top surface, the WXAD-10 has been designed to match any décor.
