JBL JRX225 two-way passive speaker system

The JBL JRX225 is a professional passive 2.5-way live loudspeaker of the JRX200 series from the American manufacturer JBL. Versatile and easy to use, this series of loudspeakers deliver exceptional sound quality. Branded tweeters and woofers provide a power level of 2000 watts with minimal distortion across the entire frequency range.

The JBL JRX225 cabinet houses two 15" M115-8A woofers with large 2.5" voice coils to handle more power, and a 1" 2414H-C tweeter with compression driver and polymer diaphragm. The tweeter is housed in Progressive Transition's proprietary waveguide, which provides unsurpassed control over the coverage area, reduces distortion and makes the frequency response as smooth as possible. The advanced design of the crossover network topology shapes the frequency response, and the high-voltage capacitors and inductors with massive cores and large gauge wires allow the crossover network to easily handle high power without saturation. SonicGuard's proprietary overload protection protects the RF driver from excess power without interrupting operation. The rear panel has inputs for Neutrik Speakon NL4 and 1/4" TS Jack.

The JBL JRX225's rugged trapezoidal cabinet is constructed from 19mm thick MDF (chipboard) panels using advanced adhesives and mechanical panel joining technologies for durability and better bass response. Non-resonating steel carrying handles are used. 18 gauge perforated steel grill protects components from damage. Mounting with an angle of 10 degrees is allowed for uniform coverage of the territory.
