Clearaudio Nano Phono V2 phono stage (EL028, MM/MC)

The Clearaudio Nano Phono was one of the German brand's bestsellers. Following this success, Clearaudio has created a new and improved version of this preamplifier for analog players. This device has a new anti-resonant and non-magnetic body made of brushed aluminum with rounded corners.

The small, minimalist Clearaudio Nano Phono V2 phono stage has nothing superfluous. External interference is no longer a problem with this excellent product of Clearaudio engineering. Very short signal paths in the analog path, physical channel separation (dual mono architecture) contributes to the purity of sound and minimization of interference. Its carefully selected SMD components are hand-assembled in Erlangen and tested several times. The result of these efforts is a high signal-to-noise ratio of up to 84 decibels. The input impedance is set using plug-in jumpers, so there is no quality loss when using different MM or MC cartridges.

The Nano Phono V2 has a power switch: Clearaudio recommends that you turn the unit on to keep the electronic parts inside at a constant temperature (this consumes very little power). The new Nano Phono V2 also has a built-in volume control. An external power supply ensures reliable power from the mains while minimizing noise and interference. Gold-plated input and output RCA connectors provide excellent contact that will not degrade over time.
