Peculiarities

• Musical Fidelity's RIAA correction is known for its predictable and consistent accuracy. The LX2-LPS is accurate to ±0.25 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and extends to 45 kHz to eliminate overload ringing.
• The result is absolutely clear high frequencies without intermodulation or other distracting anomalies.

The noise ratio for both MM (better than 82dB) and MC (better than 72dB) is outstanding and virtually inaudible at any volume level. But then I don't think the sophistication and subtlety of MF will be to your taste!
LX LPS distortion is vanishingly small - typically less than 0.007% across the entire audio range.
The overload reserve is simply exemplary. Simply put, it is almost impossible to overload any real cartridge.
As we all know, nothing is perfect, but the LX2-LPS comes very close.
