Parasound Halo JC3 Plus Phono Stage

The JC3 phono stage is fully consistent with the ideology of the HALO series - it combines beautiful appearance and outstanding technical characteristics. Parasound JC3 is capable of working with two types of cartridges: MM (resistance 47 kOhm) and MC (resistance 47 Ohm or 100 Ohm). The choice of type of a cartridge is carried out by means of the three-position switch. The vinyl player is connected using an RCA cable. Signal transmission from the phono stage to the preamplifier is possible using both RCA and XLR cables. The Parasound JC3 has a mono/stereo switch on the front panel for listening in both stereo and mono modes (for listening to mono recordings of old vinyl records). The body of the phono stage is divided inside by thick aluminum baffles, which significantly reduces interference from the electromagnetic field. To power the device, an R-type transformer is used, which has a much lower electromagnetic field radiation compared to a traditional toroidal transformer. The "power polarity" switch allows you to reduce the noise level caused by the electrical network. The phono stage has a 12-volt trigger input with two modes of operation: automatic and manual.
