Van Den Hul The Frog Gold cartridge
The FROG is the incarnation of GRASSHOPPER in a "clothed", not naked form. In other words, the needle, needle holder, coil frame, damper and flanges of the magnetic system of The FROG and GRASSHOPPER are identical. Appearance: Green anodized metal housing, enclosed generator. Thick short pins on the back. It is difficult to set the azimuth, the needle holder is thin and poorly visible.
Construction: In fact, The FROG is the embodiment of GRASSHOPPER in a "clothed", not naked form. In other words, the needle, needle holder, coil frame, damper and flanges of the magnetic system of The FROG and GRASSHOPPER are identical. The generator, however, is hidden in an aluminum case, and its coils (as standard) are wound not with gold wire, but with copper with a single-crystal precisely oriented structure. Another magnet material is also used. Produced in several versions.
