The model received a characteristic wide body of silver-black color, made of solid aluminum alloy using high-precision casting technology. The housing has special inserts made of hard synthetic polymer designed to eliminate parasitic resonances.

Description Audio-Technica cartridge AT33PTG/II
The converter uses a powerful neodymium magnet and a special element made of an alloy of cobalt with iron and vanadium (permendur), which enhances the magnetic field in the coil. The Audio-Technica AT33PTG/II cartridge is equipped with two coils that have a low impedance of 10 ohms and use wires made from PCOCC monocrystalline copper. This design makes it possible to increase the channel separation index up to 30 dB, as well as improve the quality of signal transmission. The weight of the moving system was reduced, which had a positive effect on sound accuracy.
The needle has a special MicroLinear (ML) profile. It is a highly polished diamond with a linear contact that minimizes distortion and also provides a wider frequency range than elliptical or conical profiles can provide. This needle also boasts a long service life, which is about 1000 hours. The cartridge cantilever is somewhat shortened compared to the previous model and is a lightweight, rigid conical tube made of boron and coated with a thin layer of gold.
The frequency range is from 15 to 50,000 Hz. To work with this model, you must use a high-quality phono stage with a minimum input impedance of 100 Ohms. Recommended tracking force range: 1.8 - 2.2 grams (optimum standard value - 2 grams). The cartridge weighs 6.9 g, which ensures that it can work with virtually all modern tonearms of traditional design.
The Audio-Technica AT33PTG/II cartridge is capable of accurately capturing every nuance of any music track while delivering clear, balanced and smooth sound with open highs, excellent midrange and well-developed bass.
