The Denon DSB-150 Envaya Bluetooth speaker has slightly larger dimensions compared to the younger model and can be used to listen to music in small spaces. At the same time, by its design, the column remains portable, that is, it runs on battery power and has an IP67-protected housing. It is worth noting that the dimensions of the speaker have grown slightly and it is still convenient to carry and place in any conditions, but the increased internal volume has made its sound more saturated.
Denon DSB-150 Envaya is equipped with two woofers and an oval passive radiator, and the power of the built-in class D amplifier is 2 x 8.5 watts. The column has a Bluetooth 4.1 receiver, which provides stable communication at a distance of up to 10 meters, is easy and reliable to connect, and has good economy. Thanks to the latter circumstance, as well as the use of energy-efficient amplifiers, the battery life of the Denon DSB-150 Envaya was increased to 11 hours (at an average volume of listening to music).
In order to make the sound quality through Bluetooth the highest, the column provides support for the improved aptX audio codec. In addition, two Denon DSB-150 Envayas can be paired as a stereo pair to create a true two-channel wireless audio system. As an alternative to Bluetooth in the speaker, you can also use a wired connection to a signal source via a 3.3 mm mini-jack jack. Another added feature on the Denon DSB-150 Envaya is the ability to answer phone calls and use voice search engines thanks to the built-in microphone. The speaker is supplied with a convenient carrying strap.
