Full dual-mono design including power supply

Featuring two toroidal core power transformers and two Ncore modules, the extravagant circuitry has a full dual mono structure from input to output. The dual-mono structure, in which each channel is fully mono, prevents interference between left and right signals and achieves excellent channel separation. This allows for rich sound reproduction that provides a larger soundstage and more three-dimensional sound.

High power with a practical maximum of 260W + 260W*1 / 170W + 170W*2

Hypex Ncore power amplifier modules realize both high efficiency and high sound quality. These two amplifier modules, which have been tuned and developed specifically for TEAC, provide speakers without losing original musical expression, from gentle pianissimo to powerful fortissimo.

Vibration control thanks to flexible design

The front, side and back panels are fixed with 3mm thick sheet metal as the base material. Suspension joints are then used at the joints of the front, side, rear and top panels. This body with flexible structure controls the vibration of the whole device, providing an open and bright sound reproduction.

Fanless design with efficient ventilation system

Despite the high power output of this power amp, the fanless design was realized thanks to airflow calculated PCB placement and the precise placement of air intakes and air outlets. Heat dissipation is increased by attaching amplifier modules directly to the bottom panel. Together with the ribbed structure of the side panels, this reliably dissipates internal heat.

Vibration Control Design

The floating design allows the transformers, which can easily cause vibration, to be detached from the bottom panel. The heat dissipation side panel fins have been reshaped to eliminate vibration.

To carefully suppress vibrations that affect sound quality, the original TEAC pinpoint feet, using a new mechanism, are attached to the bottom panel with an appropriate allowance, and the number of screws that secure the circuit boards to the chassis is reduced to a minimum.

High performance sound quality

Slots are cut between each connector to ensure the durability of input circuits. In addition, direct wiring without connectors is used from the input circuits to deliver signals to discrete buffer circuits without losing their clarity.
