The Van Den Hul MAINSSTREAM Hybrid mains cable is a high quality power cable specially designed for mains power supply of various electronic devices. The main goal during its creation was to provide uncompromising power transmission to such devices as: High-End audio equipment, video and professional equipment for various purposes.

An important feature of the Mainsstream Hybrid is its carefully engineered power line noise suppression properties:
- First of all, the special hybrid structure and conductor configuration of the Mainsstream Hybrid was designed to work as an inline power line filter.
This unique built-in filter effectively suppresses high-frequency power line noise without imposing any current restrictions: unlike conventional power line filters, the Mainsstream Hybrid does not use any filter components connected in series
with its AC path; There is no series impedance (reactance) and therefore the cable does not show any current limiting, resonance or sluggish response to the effects of current draw. A truly unlimited flow of clean electricity!
- Secondly, the cable is equipped with a high-quality shield. This heavy screen performs two important functions:
- It prevents transmission line noise from propagating to your nearby equipment and interconnects.
- It prevents external EMI and RFI from entering the AC mains.
- Third, the green/yellow center ground wire has a wideband, low-resistance impedance that provides ideal ground current noise rejection for connected equipment and thus further helps reduce noise levels.
