We live in an electrically noisy world. Mobile phones, computers, wireless networks, refrigerators, and even your own music equipment can add various types of noise and interference. We expect our hi-fi and home theater systems to deliver excellent results regardless of any interference. This may sound very real, but in reality, you probably haven't reached the full performance of your hardware. The Atlas Eos power management system has been designed to let you hear (and see) what your system is really capable of.
Optimal system performance requires a different approach for each type of component, so the Eos Modular can combine sockets designed for higher power components (such as amplifiers) with outputs for heavily filtered equipment for sensitive low-level signals (such as CD players and DACs). In this offer, Eos Modular 0F4U Schuko offers a common steel extension chassis with separate sub-chassis for 4 Euro sockets without filtering and is designed to connect power (amplifying) equipment.
All of the Eos Modular's internal wiring is made from the same wires that Atlas offers in its signature Eos power cable line. The conductors have a cross-sectional area of 2.0 mm² and consist of twisted strands of pure oxygen-free OFC copper, which are enclosed in a Teflon dielectric. The welded steel chassis of the distributor provides RFI and EMI protection and maintains the integrity of this comprehensive protection when using Eos Modular in combination with Atlas Eos shielded power cables. Due to the star topology, the four outlets are grounded at the same relative level, and if all audio devices are grounded to the same point in the same splitter and have the same power supply, there are no differential drops between them that cause interference.
