CD Robert Plant: Carry Fire is Robert Plant's eleventh solo album and first full-length release since 2014's "Lullaby… and The Ceaseless Roar", which he showed to the public in 2017.

Both LPs were recorded by Plant in the West of England and Wales at the Top Cat studio in Box, with additional recordings at Real World and Rockfield studios. When recording the Lullaby album, the musician was assisted by The Sensational Space Shifters: John Baggot (keyboards, synthesizer, percussion, drums, effects), Justin Adams (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, percussion, tambourine), Dave Smith (bendir (Moroccan drum), tambourine, djemba, drum kit) and Liam Skin Tyson (dobro, electric guitar, 12-string guitar, steel guitar).

In addition to Plant and Space Shifters, several other celebrity guests took part in the recording of the album. Robert is joined on Bluebirds Over The Mountain by Chrissie Hynde (written by rockabilly legend Ersel Hickey and later recorded by Ritchie Valens and The Beach Boys). Albanian cellist Radi Hasa appears on three tracks, as does well-known musician Seth Lakeman on viola and violin.

Plant and the Spaceshifters, which now includes Lakeman, will celebrate the release of "Carry Fire" with a world tour in November 2017. Plant and the band spent two years touring together in support of "Lullaby... and The Ceaseless Roar". In this regard, their unique sound and image have evolved even into something more creative and powerful.

Plant, who lived in Texas for a while and returned to his native England three years ago, presents his new songs, which mix unusual rhythms with naturalism and hidden power.

“I respect and enjoy my old work, but every time I find incentives and succumb to the temptation to create something new. I have to mix the old with the new. Gradually, the group's momentum found a certain freedom, creating a new sound and making room for new melodies, moods and arrangements,” says Plant.

The album "Lullaby… and The Ceaseless Roar" entered the top 10 charts worldwide, ranging from the US SoundScan/Billboard 200 to the charts in Belgium, Canada, Finland, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

Robert Plant has released 14 solo albums since Led Zeppelin broke up 37 years ago. They all made it into the top 20 in their home country of the UK, most even into the top 10.

So the best conditions for the album "Carry Fire", which is special in several ways. This is Bring Fire.
